… krazee…. you don’t know what you’re talking about… Jesus DID start christianity…. thus the great commission… the sending out of the apostles to preach the word of Christ to all nations… Jesus DIDN’T start dissention in the church… he DIDN’T start following of crazy practices and rituals… or man-made tradtions… he DID start the fellowship of believers who could meet together, provide for each other, take care of those who were down… THAT IS the definition of a church…. have we screwed it up, Yes! But can we strive to make it what it is supposed to be as in Acts 2 in the Bible? YES! Don’t make claims like that and then not back them with any points… it only sounds like random thoughts and not solidified beliefs…

I can’t begin to put myself in the shoes of a rapist and think like he does, and I am glad that I cannot think like that. As for christianiy I doubt Jesus would want anything to do with it. He did not start that religion.

Sorry Yorel… I don’t consider Mormonism to be a sect of Christianity… you have VERY different beliefs…. Eloheim impregnating Mary… One day becoming Gods of other universes… Jesus having had children…. and having preached to Native Americans…. yeah…. that’s quite a different situation…. I love the belief that in the end you stand before judgement from Eloheim, Jesus Christ, and who??? Joseph Smith… the Creator of Mormonism… Good to see that he as a human elevated himself to God-like status… No, Mormonism didn’t split… it was just created out of some guys random ideas…. that he claims were God inspired, yet there has yet to be a shred of evidence found of these mysterious gold plates god “showed him”….

Hmmmm… I wonder what Willard would say about this post? Pretty freaky Brent…altough I have long admired your.. I don’t want to say ability…more like character trait of sticking up for women. I know a big part of it is seeing all that your mom went through but I think part of it is your personallity. Don’t loose your fire!

As a former RA at TOledo for the last two years, I have seen those same talks and same things. One of the Great things about being an RA is that it opens you up to the many things the Christian world may shy away from. The stuff Brent said doesn’t shock me. Brent’s talk on lack of Empathy for the other person is a big reason not to objectify people. Women, if you on;y knew how much us man objectify women. Without going into detail, a lot of you would loss a lot of respect for some of your brothers the way we treat our sister sometime. That’s why we are happy with modesty among your ranks. If we know what we think as brothers, we can only imagine how non-christians see you.

hmm.. the world as we know it, has gone absolutally bonkers.. and what are we doing to help it? good question.. Empathy is more imprtant then i would have ever thought too.. I guess I never really thought deepy about it in that way before. And yeah had it been 2:30am that I read it, it would have been way to deep but thankfully it is almost noon here, and i can fully comprehend all that was written!! and Edwin McCain is da bomb!

Unreal and very scary that so many people don't have empathy. Your post gave me chills. What a wonderful world it would be if everybody just considered the other guys/gals feelings!!!!
